Community, Value, Beauty

The New Year has arrived and with it, a new vision for our community to rally around and support: 2010 will be the year of neighborhood beautification!  Together we can make the L Streets safer, more appealing and a better place to live.

Keeping our homes, roadways, and lawns clean and well maintained adds value to the community and instills a greater sense of pride in its residents.  By simply complying with city ordinances, adhering to guidelines contained in the Good Neighbor Guide* and utilizing our city services such as garbage, recycling, and bulk trash pickup properly, we can make our neighborhood more attractive and desirable.

Manicured lawns not only improve curb appeal, but by trimming trees and shrubs you increase visibility and help reduce crime.  Parking vehicles in garages and driveways will also help reduce crimes of opportunity.  These are all things that are easy to do and make a huge step toward neighborhood beautification and safety!

The L Streets NA will work diligently this year to provide you with opportunities to get out and meet your neighbors,  improve the appearance and safety of our neighborhood, and provide you with useful information and practical solutions to your questions, concerns, and needs.

Join us in our vision to beautify the L Streets by getting more involved with the Neighborhood Association.  Together we can beautify our community!

Here’s how to get involved:
Attend The L Streets N.A. First Quarter Meeting
Tuesday February 9th from 7:30-8:30 PM
Northeast Substation of the Dallas Police Department (9914 E. Northwest Hwy.)
We will have a guest speaker from the police department and provide free pizza and drinks!

Become a Member!
Membership Dues are $25/household for the entire year.  The deadline to make your 2010 payment is January 31st. The more members we have, the more opportunity we have to plan neighborhood improvement projects and community events.  We need your help to make things happen!

Please include your name, address, phone number and email address with your payment. If you are not the current resident of the home you are making the payment for, please include the address of the L Streets home.
