Become a VIP (Volunteers in Patrol)
This is a group of L Street Volunteers who patrol in their cars and report anything suspicious to 9-1-1 and 3-1-1. This is a non confrontational group and does not carry weapons. Members choose the time and days they can volunteer. Members must first complete a background check and VIP training through the Dallas Police Department in order to participate. A VIP group is the number one thing a neighborhood can do to help control crime.

Going to be out of town?
Creating open communication with your Block Captain, Neighbors, or members of the VIP is a great way to help us all look out for each other!
If you know you will be out of town, please email vip@lstreets.org with your address and dates you'll be gone. The more information we have, the more effecient we can patrol our neighborhood.
